Las Vegas - Louie Anderson has been selling out Las Vegas showrooms for nearly a quarter of a century, turning theatres on The Strip into intimate settings where audience members feel like they are being entertained in their living rooms. In March 2006, Anderson officially took residence on Las Vegas Boulevard bringing his larger-than-life persona to The Excalibur.
"Actors go to Broadway, movie stars go to Hollywood and comedians go to Vegas," said Louie Anderson.
Produced by Adam Steck, “Louie Anderson: Larger Than Life” features Anderson’s hilarious stories and edgy material created only for the Vegas crowds.
Comedy Central Network named Anderson “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” The multi-talented comedian/actor’s resume includes hosting the syndicated hit series Family Feud, and being the executive producer and creator of the two-time Emmy Award-winning animated series on FOX, Life With Louie. He has starred in his own HBO and Showtime comedy specials and has been a frequent guest of late-night talk shows. He also guest starred on such popular sitcoms as Scrubs and Grace Under Fire, dramas including Touched by an Angel and Chicago Hope, and has many memorable featured roles in films such as “Coming to America” opposite Eddie Murphy.
